Joe is originally from Stockbridge, VT, and now resides in Bellevue, NE. He began his career in the Air National Guard before receiving his commission as an officer in the active-duty U.S. Air Force. He later retired as a USAF Navigator, flying treaty compliance aircraft from Offutt AFB in Bellevue, NE.

He holds a degree in Business Administration from Johnson State College (now Northern Vermont University), an MBA in International Business from Trident University, and a Ph.D. in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing from Trident University. His dissertation and publications have focused on the travel and tourism industry, particularly on push and pull motivations.

Joe lives with his wife, a Nurse Midwife, their active 10-year-old, one cat, and a tank of fish. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, practicing yoga, lifting weights, reading, and spending time outdoors. He looks forward to engaging with others and learning about their business experiences.
