Tony DeVeto is a Disabled United States Air Force Veteran, having served 8.5 years on active duty. During his time in the Air Force, he traveled extensively throughout Europe and competed as a member of the USAF Men’s Fast-Pitch Softball Team and the USAF Chess Team, earning multiple awards and medals.
Following his military service, Tony transitioned into the corporate sector, holding executive managerial positions with companies such as Target, Black-Eyed Pea Restaurant Company, EyeMasters, Inc., and Sylvan Learning Centers in Texas and California. In 2010, he shifted his focus exclusively to higher education, teaching in MBA programs at California Baptist University and the University of Phoenix’s Southern California campuses.
In 2015, Tony and his wife founded DeVeto Hair Styling Services, a Subchapter S Corporation in Murrieta, CA. While his wife continues to provide professional hair styling services, Tony manages the business operations.
Currently, he teaches undergraduate students in the Colleges of Business & Education and facilitates graduate students’ Professional Residency Weekends at Westcliff University’s campus in Irvine, CA.
Tony is passionate about mentoring students and guiding them toward academic and professional success. His diverse background in military service, corporate leadership, and education allows him to bring real-world applications into the classroom, fostering a dynamic and engaging learning environment.
