Professor Bart holds a Master of Business Administration degree from ESSEC Business School in Paris, France. Professor Bart is passionate about empowering individuals of all backgrounds to create innovative and impactful enterprises. She is currently the Director of the SBDC (Small Business Development Center, a program of the Small Business Administration) at University of California Irvine that provides strategic consulting services to startups. She was previously the Executive Director of RevHub OC, where she managed partnerships and led operations of their social impact incubator/accelerator. Her professional experience includes more than 22 years in the healthcare and nonprofit sectors, working in leadership roles for global companies such as Abbott, where she was responsible for business planning, marketing strategy and digital transformation. She is amember of the global Catalyst 2030 group promoting and working towards achieving the United Nations 2030 Sustainable Development Goals.
Professor Bart is also the managing director for Academies for Social Entrepreneurship, which promotes the development of social enterprises and business ventures to address social & environmental problems, and volunteers for various local nonprofits as a board member and as an advisor for the OCTANE nonprofit accelerator.
