Transfer Students

Admissions Requirements for Transfer Students

Westcliff University welcomes the unique experience transfer students bring to our community, and will accept up to 90 credits into our undergraduate programs. 6 credits can be transferred in for Master-level programs, and maximum 30 credits can be transferred in for our Doctorate-level courses. Transfer credits are only awarded from institutions recognized by an accrediting body with Council for Higher Education Association (CHEA). For undergraduate students, the minimum acceptable grade for transfer is a “C-” , for graduate students the minimum grade is a “C” and for Doctoral students, the minimum grade is a “B.” Transfer work is only accepted for courses that are applicable to the student’s program of study.

In order to apply for a program, please begin by submitting the following requirements:

  • Schedule a(n) virtual or on-campus appointment
  • Submit a completed qualifying degree for the program of interest
  • Submit official transcripts
  • Submit a copy government-issued photo ID

How to apply? Transfer students submit the regular application with transcripts from all colleges and universities they wish to transfer credits from. Transcripts are reviewed automatically for accepted students.
