Job Summary:

A full-time faculty member's primary commitment is to Westcliff’s mission and student success. We expect faculty members to be present on one of Westcliff’s campuses whenever possible to foster faculty collegiality and enhance student accessibility. Teaching Responsibilities (75%):
Full-time faculty members must commit a minimum of 40 hours weekly. Within this framework:
- A minimum of 75% (~30 hours weekly) is allocated for teaching, doctoral committee, or doctoral chair endeavors, including preparation, instruction, facilitation, support, and evaluation.
- In the situation of vacation time, Full Time Faculty should contact the Office of Faculty Affairs at least 3 months prior to the scheduled vacation.
- Faculty take active roles in teaching weekend professional format courses. Full time faculty are required to attend and participate in three (3), twenty-four hour, Professional Weekend Residencies Weekends per academic year.
- Outside of classroom commitments, faculty maintain a strong commitment to student success.
Faculty Leadership and Scholarship (20%):
20% (~8 hours weekly) of the faculty's time is devoted to:
- Collaborate with fellow faculty members on curriculum and assessment design and review, including serving as subject matter experts and playing an active role in student outcome assessments and accreditation processes
- Mentor and coach other faculty when needed, including new faculty onboarding support.
- Explore, implement, and measure instructional best practices and innovative ideas for improved student outcomes.

International Admissions Advisor
Under the direct supervision, the International Admissions Advisor is responsible in facilitating the selection and enrollment of qualified student applicants for school admissions with emphasis on customer service. This position is an entry level position that responds to phones and web generated inquiries from prospective students and guides them through the admissions process. You will conduct campus tours for prospective students. Provide excellent customer service to prospective and enrolled students in accordance with the mission and purpose of the university. Must be flexible with work schedule & Saturday work schedule. This is a hybrid role (ideally working on campus 2-3 days per week).

- Contact prospects assigned to them using the phone, email, and other approved methods

Enrollment Coordinator
Reporting to the Admissions Operations Manager, the Enrollment Coordinator is an integral part of the Enrollment Operations team. The Enrollment Coordinator is responsible for supporting enrollment operations through accurate file audits, transcript evaluations, and scholarship processing in a fast paced environment with a high volume of applications.
This role requires strong attention to detail, as well as timely and accurate work product and a strict adherence to University ethical policies and standard of conduct. The Enrollment Coordinator manages repetitive tasks such as data entry and maintaining applicant records and plays a vital role in ensuring data integrity and a smooth admissions process for prospective Westcliff students.
Essential Functions:
File Audits:
- Conduct regular audits of enrollment files to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with institutional and regulatory standards.
Transcript Evaluations:
- Review and verify student transcripts for correctness, ensuring all academic records meet internal criteria and are accurately reflected in student files.
- Validates the accreditation status of transfer colleges and universities.
- Validates qualifying degrees, diplomas and other documents for acceptance into university programs
- Maintains admissions file and ensures the integrity of all documents related to the admissions process
CRM System Management:
- Perform consistent data entry, maintain accurate student records, and uphold data quality standards across systems.
- Use Slate (CRM) software to evaluate and update records, and support enrollment operations.
Administrative and Operational Support
- Scholarship Processing: Manage the intake and processing of scholarship applications
- Email Inbox Management: Respond to and manage email communications from prospective and current students, providing accurate information and timely follow-up.
- Assists with audits and special projects as needed
Minimum requirements to be considered for this position:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 1-2 years of clerical or administrative experience at a higher academic institution
- Experience with Foreign transcript evaluations
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proven ability to perform high volume, repetitive tasks accurately and efficiently
- Must be a self-starter, analytical problem-solver, and have a proven ability to bring projects to completion
- Must be dependable, able to follow instructions, respond to management direction, and must be able to improve performance through management feedback
Preferred qualifications for this position:
- Experience in data entry and working with CRM systems
- Experience with Slate CRM or similarly CRM strongly preferred

Accounting Supervisor
Westcliff University is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounting Supervisor to lead our AP. and Payroll staff. This role encompasses managing all aspects of payroll processing for faculty, staff, and student employees, ensuring compliance with state (California) and federal regulations. This role will manage entire AP workflow, including being a part of migration to a cloud-based system. The Accounting Supervisor will report directly to the Controller and will be responsible for overseeing the Payroll Administrator and AP clerk, ensuring that payroll and AP processes are efficient, accurate, and timely. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of payroll administration and accounts payable processing, be well-versed in regulatory compliance, and have a proven track record of leadership in a payroll capacity as well as accounts payable management.
Objectives of the Role:
- Manage and oversee all payroll & AP functions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness in the processing of payroll.
- Achieve daily, weekly and monthly Payroll & AP functions within the overall framework of the Monthly & Yearly accounting close cycles.
- Provide strategic oversight and leadership to both departments, including the direct management of the Payroll Administrator and Accounts Payable processor.
- Ensure strict compliance with state and federal regulations regarding payroll, taxes, and employee compensation.
- Drive process improvements in both departments to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for payroll and AP related inquiries and issues, offering solutions and ensuring resolution including assisting with Audit requests related to AP and Payroll.

Under the direct supervision, the International Admissions Advisor is responsible in facilitating the selection and enrollment of qualified student applicants for school admissions with emphasis on customer service. Position Title: Librarian
Job Summary
The Librarian provides direction and planning for the broad range of digital resources available at Westcliff University to support teaching and learning. The Director is committed to providing integrated resources that enable students and faculty to creatively and productively advance academic and curricular goals. This role reports to the Dean of the LITE Center.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Curate and maintain the university’s comprehensive network of digital resources
- Evaluate student and faculty proficiency in digital resource utilization
- Develop targeted training programs to enhance information literacy based on data analysis
- Oversee the development and acquisition of instructional support materials relevant to the effective use of digital resource utilization
- Evaluate the accessibility of library resources for students of all abilities and provide the institution with strategic recommendations to enhance accessibility
- Advise students and faculty in the strategic allocation of resources for research endeavors
- Plan and lead select research-focused initiatives and events, to include the Faculty Fellows program and the Research Colloquium
- Curate content on the library webpage in GAP
- Serve on the WIJAR Editorial Board
- Serve as subject matter expert on behalf of Library & Digital Resources Center in all accreditation matters and reports
- Serve as the ProQuest Dissertation Submission Administrator on behalf of the institution
- Review and approve student dissertations which meet university standards
- Oversee the management of the university’s internal dissertation repository
- Remain informed on pivotal issues and emerging trends in academic support, digital scholarship, information and data literacy, open access, open educational resources, research data management, research impact metrics, scholarly communication, academic libraries, and higher education, and integrate this knowledge into planning and reporting
Required Knowledge and Skills
- Strong leadership and effective management skills, including proactive problem-solving, self-motivation, and overseeing daily operations, strategic planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Experience in designing and delivering instructional programs to support academic research and learning, and the ability to collaborate with faculty to integrate library resources into the curriculum.
- Familiarity with scholarly communication trends, open access publishing, and research impact metrics, along with skills in providing research support, including literature reviews, citation management, and data management.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with university leadership, faculty, students, and external partners, coupled with strong collaboration skills for working with various stakeholders within and outside the university.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, from planning to execution and assessment, with skills in setting goals, establishing timelines, and ensuring successful project completion.
- Visionary thinking to anticipate future trends in digital libraries and higher education, coupled with an innovative approach to developing and implementing new services, programs, and technologies.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Library Science or a closely related field
- Minimum two years experience working in an educational environment (post-secondary education preferred)
- Proficient in use of techniques used in academic database research
- Familiar with Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WSCUC) expectations for library services at universities

Job Summary:

Qualifications:

Loan Programs
- Coordinate the Federal Direct and Alternative Loan Programs
- Follow up on missing information when appropriate
- Coordinate the processing of the Federal Direct Loan Programs through Common Origination and Disbursement (COD)
- Process/package Federal loans including Unsubsidized and Grad PLUS
- Process all error queries for Federal loan programs
- Reconcile Federal loan disbursements with Student Accounts
- Request missing documents, including MPN’s or counseling requirements
- Ensure Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) requirements have been met
- Ensure student loans are within federal loan limits or complete reaffirmation paperwork
- Make adjustments on loans as required
- Follow up on disbursement errors
- Review files for possible budget and award adjustments (over-awards)
- Run and review appropriate reports to ensure all aid is posted to Student Accounts
- Process certification requests and disbursements for private loans
- Authorize disbursements to Student Accounts for registration
- Other duties assigned by supervisor.
Scholarships
- Assist with processing new and continuing student scholarships
- Revise and adjust scholarships as needed
- Seek appropriate approval when needed
- Run and review appropriate reports to ensure all aid is posted to Student Accounts

Requirements:
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Doctoral degree from a regionally or internationally accredited institution in or closely related to your field
- Experience teaching on-campus or in a hybrid format
- Two years experience teaching at the university level in your discipline
- Demonstrated commitment to teaching students from diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds.
Education:
- Doctoral from a regionally or internationally accredited institution or equivalent
