Westcliff University’s New Student Orientation Sets the Stage for Success
Westcliff University recently welcomed more than 260 new students to its main campus in Irvine, California, for New Student Orientation. This diverse group included undergraduates beginning their academic journey, as well as new master’s and doctoral students. The event highlighted Westcliff’s rich cultural tapestry, with students hailing from around the globe.
Among the new students was Steve, an MBA candidate originally from Shanghai, China. He expressed his excitement about starting his journey at Westcliff and settling into his new home in Southern California. “This is the kind of place we would only visit on vacation, so to now live here is pretty surreal. The sun is always shining, and the people are nice,” Steve shared. His motivation for joining the MBA program stems from his entrepreneurial ambitions. As the owner of an online fitness coaching business, Steve acknowledged, “After starting my own business, I realized I don’t know anything about business. My goal is to learn about business, especially the entrepreneurial and marketing side.” Check out the two newest MBA concentrations being added!
During the orientation, students attended various sessions filled with valuable information. A key highlight was the introduction of the newly launched, sleek, and user-friendly student portal, designed to be a convenient one-stop shop for all student needs.
Another focal point was Westcliff Student Life, which offers a wide range of clubs and activities. From trips to nearby cities like Los Angeles and San Diego to regularly held beach days, there are numerous ways for students to connect and engage.
