Westcliff Warriors Men’s Soccer: Poised for Another Dominant Season
Led by senior captain Janis Hinterleitner, who enters his fourth season with the Warriors, this squad is hungry to keep their momentum rolling. Hinterleitner has been a key pillar of the team’s success, helping to develop a defense that conceded just 16 goals across 20 games last year—ranking them among the top 11 NAIA schools for defense. His leadership on and off the field has inspired his teammates and earned him the respect of both his peers and coaches.
“My clear goal is to make it to nationals again and hopefully get even further than last season,” Hinterleitner said. His competitive spirit and commitment to excellence are evident in every game, and as he enters his final season, he’s more determined than ever to help his team reach new heights.
Another standout player in his fourth year, Jordan De Lenardo from Switzerland, shares Hinterleitner’s championship focus. De Lenardo and his teammates have their sights set on one thing: securing a national title. The chemistry within the squad is undeniable, and their drive to win is palpable.
A Winning Momentum
Head Coach Randy Dodge, a legendary figure in Southern California soccer, continues to push the Warriors to new levels of success. His leadership was instrumental in last season’s record-breaking campaign, and his ability to bring out the best in his players will be key to another successful year.
